Role & seniority: Completions / QA Engineer (joint venture e2x) with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background; mid-to-senior level on a major transport infrastructure project.
Stack/tools: Electrical/Mechanical engineering basis; QA/documentation emphasis; commissioning and systems completion processes; as-built drawings, completion reports, test results, handover manuals.
Accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to meet project budgets and schedules through to handover and close-out.
Provide construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support; verify systems are tested and commissioned per specifications.
Documentation audit and handover readiness: review documentation (as-builts, completion reports, test results), create detailed handover checklists, organize stakeholder meetings, resolve discrepancies, and compile manuals.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven completions experience on construction/infrastructure projects from execution to handover/close-out.
Solid knowledge of construction, commissioning, completions processes, QA documentation, and systems completion.
Experience coordinating QA/documentation across operations, maintenance, safety stakeholders.
Familiarity with final inspections, change management, and producing user-friendly operation/maintenance manuals.
Location & work
e20 in a joint venture with RSGx, have formed e2x to deliver the Supply (limited), Installation, Test & Commissioning of HVAC Systems to the Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport project. This is a landmark transport initiative that will link St Mary’s to Bradfield.
e2x will Supply (limited) & Installation of Electrical and Communications Systems to four major stations.
Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as our Completions / QA Engineer (with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background), will be responsible for coordinating all completions activities through to handover and project close out.

Key Responsibilities
Accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules. Provide construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support to projects as required.
Documentation Audit: Review all project documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. This includes as-built drawings, completion reports, and test results.
Checklist Creation: Develop a detailed handover checklist covering all necessary documentation, tests, and operational guidelines.
Meetings: Organize meetings with key stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and safety teams, to outline the handover process and address any concerns.
Clarifications: Resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies in project documentation or completion activities.
System Testing: Verify that all systems have been tested and commissioned according to specifications. Any issues discovered need to be addressed and resolved promptly.
Final Inspections: Conduct final inspections to ensure all installations align with design and client specifications.
Manual Compilation: Compile and organize all operational and maintenance manuals, ensuring they are user-friendly and accessible.
Experience & Qualifications
