Job Title: Legal Operations Automation Engineer Tonkean Specialist (RAI & Marketing)

Location: Mountain View CA

Position Summary

The Legal Operations Automation Engineer will leverage the Tonkean platform to design, build, and maintain automated workflows that streamline legal intake, triage, and approval processes. The primary focus is on two key areas: 1) Migrating existing Responsible AI (RAI) compliance checks into an automated, auditable Tonkean workflow, and 2) Integrating Marketing approval workflows with legal systems to enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance in marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

RAI Process Migration: Lead the migration of legacy RAI assessments into Tonkean s AI-powered Intake Forms and Modules, creating automated risk-scoring, approval routing, and compliance tracking.

Marketing Legal Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Marketing project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, Asana) and Legal Systems (e.g., Ironclad, LawVu) via Tonkean to automate contract review and ad compliance, reducing bottlenecks.

No-Code Workflow Development: Design, build, and deploy end-to-end orchestration workflows using Tonkean s no-code platform that connect to existing tools like Slack, Teams, Email, Salesforce, and ERP systems.

Data Integration & Accuracy: Utilize Tonkean connectors to sync, fetch, and populate data across multiple systems, ensuring "single source of truth" for legal requests and reducing manual data entry.

AI Agent Configuration: Configure Tonkean AI Agents to handle routine inquiries, analyze documents using NLP, and intelligently route complex matters to the appropriate legal stakeholder.

Visibility & Reporting: Build real-time dashboards to monitor SLA heatmaps, cycle-time trends, and compliance status for both Marketing reviews and RAI audits.

Required Technical Skills & Capabilities

Tonkean Platform Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on the Tonkean platform (Intake, Workflows, Modules, Agents).

Integration Proficiency: Experience using Tonkean s "connectors" to link with common enterprise apps (CRM, CLM, HRIS) and building custom integrations without code.

Process Mapping: Ability to translate complex, manual legal processes into efficient, automated, and user-friendly workflows.

AI/NLP Familiarity: Experience configuring AI-powered intake forms that interpret user intent.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business, Legal Studies, IT, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in legal operations, legal tech, or process automation.

Experience with Responsible AI compliance or Marketing Legal review is strongly preferred
