Key Responsibilities
Follow established QA methodologies, processes, and organizational quality standards. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Provide QA effort estimates during sprint planning and release planning activities. Analyze and identify ambiguities, gaps, and risks in requirements and collaborate with stakeholders for clarification. Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Execute manual and/or automated test cases across multiple test environments. Identify, log, track, and manage defects using test and defect management tools such as JIRA. Apply various testing techniques including functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple testing efforts in parallel. Provide recommendations for process improvements and actively participate in implementing quality improvements. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, documentation standards, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
10 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and standards. Proven experience testing within Agile/Scrum environments. Expertise in test scenario creation, test case development, and execution. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA. Strong skills in test effort estimation and workload planning. Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and data flows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to multi-task effectively and work across multiple environments simultaneously.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks. Experience working in enterprise-scale applications or regulated environments. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated testing practices.
