Must-have skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on QA in complex software environments

  • Proven automated testing experience (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or similar)

  • Strong API testing experience (Postman, REST, GraphQL) and backend system testing

  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, CI/CD, SDLC; Git

  • Excellent written/spoken communication; able to work effectively in distributed teams

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience mentoring junior engineers; building a quality-focused testing culture

  • Exposure to financial technology or high-stakes production systems

  • Ability to document metrics and promote knowledge sharing

The Role We’re looking for a sharp and experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of Cross River’s most critical system - COS. In this role, you’ll be embedded in a fast-paced product team, designing and executing manual and automated test plans that cover everything from backend APIs to customer-facing applications. You’ll take ownership of quality from day one - helping build a scalable testing culture, mentoring junior engineers, and working closely with developers and product managers to catch issues before they hit production. Requirements What You Bring to the Table Fluent in English and Hebrew - written and verbal 5+ years of hands-on QA experience in complex software environments Proven experience writing automated tests in tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar Strong understanding of QA methodologies, CI/CD, and SDLC best practices Experience testing APIs (Postman, REST, GraphQL) and backend systems Familiarity with modern QA frameworks and version control systems (Git) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams
