Full Description

At RES, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, we are looking for a SCADA Automation Engineer to manage and support automation and network systems for our operational solar, wind, and battery storage assets. This role is critical to ensuring operational reliability, supporting system integration, and enabling a smooth transition from the Construction phase to Operations in a highly technical, international environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide operational support for SCADA and network systems, including troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation.
Collaborate with SCADA OEMs and key equipment suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.
Support change management initiatives driven by operational, regulatory, or technical requirements.
Maintain asset inventories and critical documentation for automation hardware and software systems.
Manage the handover of automation systems between Construction and O&M teams.
Integrate new sites into the RES Operational Controls Center (OCC), executing or supervising integrations with third-party providers.
Review automation and control system designs for new projects to ensure operational readiness.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree (or TSU/Technical Degree) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SCADA automation or similar roles.
Experience with SCADA systems in power generation plants; renewable energy experience is highly desirable.
Advanced English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global technical environment.
Strong analytical skills, operational mindset, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
