Stack/tools: Penetration Testing disciplines including internal/external, web app, mobile, wireless, cloud, red team, and social engineering; pre-sales support for methodology, costing, RFQs; reporting and customer presentations. Certifications are highly desirable.
Top 3 responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex Penetration Testing engagements for diverse customers; build long-term client relationships.

Act as SME and technical leader; prepare high-quality security reports with recommendations and next steps; present findings to customers.

Lead, coach, and develop the US testing team; manage delivery KPIs, utilisation, budget (training and people), and workforce planning.
Must-have skills

Experience in at least five penetration testing areas (e.g., internal/external, web/mobile/wireless/cloud, red team, social engineering).

Prior team leadership and consultancy experience.

Ability to engage in pre-sales activities (methodology, scoping, proposals) and produce customer-facing briefings.

US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance; willingness to work without sponsorship.

Position Summary & Primary Objectives
Reporting to the US Vice President of Operations, the Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Penetration Testing consultants to deliver high quality testing and assurance activities for CyberCX customers, positioning CyberCX as one of the greatest global forces of cyber security professionals.
The Penetration Testing Team Lead plays a critical role in building a team culture which helping foster personal growth and high employee engagement.
You will also provide support to the Vice President of Operations (US) and Executive Director – STA (global) with people and business-related matters, for example workforce planning and reporting.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Deliver and Team Lead the top five and emerging STA services performed by the US group to a high standard, as well as most of the other services in the service catalogue, specifically those with large or complex testing requirements. Deliver a multitude of complex Penetration Testing engagements to diverse range of customers, and build strong, long-lasting relationships. Act as a subject matter expert and technical leader both within the Practice and externally Prepare high quality reports detailing security issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions, and lead presentations and discussions with customers around testing performed, key results, recommendations, and the next steps Engage with Customer Sales and Customer Solutions team in a pre-sales capacity to assist with technical methodology aspects, costing scoping, standardised proposal methodologies, RFQs and tenders Ensure that KPIs around client expectation management, delivery deadlines, quality of work and deliverables etc are met Lead, coach and, working with the US Vice President of Operations, build a high performing team to enable learning, development and capability uplift. Understand each team member’s skills, drivers and aspirations. Work with them regularly to develop, raise capability, and build a career and progression plan Enhance team’s effectiveness by taking ownership of team issues and goals. Create a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement Manage people budget, including overview and management of training budget utilisation, and contribute to the implementation of people and business strategies Meet your own utilisation targets and ensure on budget delivery
