Full Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Consultant to join a cross-functional product and engineering team on a 6–12 month contract. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional who can operate autonomously, influence quality practices, and support my client in preclinical development. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery while continuously improving test strategies, tooling, and processes. Key Responsibilities Own and drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across multiple workstreams Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements Execute manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT support) Collaborate closely with developers in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives Identify, log, track, and validate defects, working proactively to ensure timely resolution Champion quality best practices, risk-based testing, and continuous improvement Support CI/CD pipelines with automated tests where applicable Provide clear test reporting, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills 5+ years’ experience in a QA / Test Analyst / QA Consultant role Strong experience working in Agile environments Proven ability to design and execute robust test strategies Solid hands-on manual testing expertise Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail) Good understanding of SDLC, APIs, and modern web applications Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge constructively Comfortable working in a hybrid, consultative contract role
