Software Test Engineer 12-Month Contract | Cheb, Czechia (Onsite)
A leading automation company is looking for a Software Test Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in the Czech Republic. This role is ideal for someone with good knowledge of software interfaces, TCP/IP communication and RESTful APIs.
Key Responsibilities Create and run test plans and test cases for WCS/WES and automation software Test and check software interfaces between systems and machines Perform functional, integration, regression, and API testing Verify TCP/IP communication, RESTful API calls and data exchange Find, document and report software defects Support SIT, FAT and SAT testing with engineering teams Work onsite during system commissioning and go-live Keep clear test documentation
Skills & Experience Needed Experience as a Software Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or Software Integration/Test Engineer Good understanding of software interfaces, TCP/IP protocols and RESTful APIs Experience testing distributed systems or automation software (advantage, not essential) Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows and databases Understanding of the SDLC and standard testing methods Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work onsite with international teams
