Salary: INR 3,400,000 - INR 4,110,000 / year
Role & seniority: Software Engineer (mid-level, 3+ years) on Waymo Compute Team; hybrid work; reports to Software Engineering Manager.
Stack/tools: Python development and test automation; silicon test infrastructure and regression/testing tooling; hardware/embedded software testing; collaboration with hardware testing and external vendors.
Build and maintain silicon test fleet and regression test infrastructure
Build and maintain silicon stress test suite
Collaborate with Waymo hardware testing team and external vendors for silicon manufacturing testing
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
~3 years of coding, testing methodologies, test plan/case creation
Experience with Python development or test automation
Experience in hardware or embedded software testing and automation
Experience with silicon manufacturing test flows (functional to system-level)
Web-based solutions to improve test processes and reporting
Embedded software development skills in C/C++
Location & work type: Hybrid; some hours aligned to Pacific Time zone; scalable collaboration with teams in the Pacific Time zone.

Waymo's Compute Team is tasked with a critical and exciting mission: We deliver the compute platform responsible for running the autonomous vehicle's software stack. To achieve our mission, we architect and create high-performance custom silicon; we develop system-level compute architectures that push the boundaries of performance, power, and latency; and we collaborate with many other teammates to ensure we design and improve hardware and software for maximum performance. We are a diverse team looking for curious and talented teammates to work on one of the world's highest performance automotive compute platforms. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and you will report to a Software Engineering Manager. This position will require the ability to work some hours that align with the team in the Pacific Time zone on an as needed basis.
