We are looking for a self-driven and objective-oriented Engineer to join us as PQA Engineer reporting to Site Quality Department. In this role, you will provide lead/support/participate in MRB and 8D meetings to address Quality Deviation events, both Internal (e.g. Excursion) and External (e.g. RMA). You will work closely with Process Owners and collaborates with Central Team Partners (e.g. GQ, PE, PDE, TSE, TSP etc) on quality issues to mitigate supply chain impact, You will also establish and monitor Quality performance metrics and identify/implement continual improvement opportunities, including technical risk assessment of process change as well as play a key role in the Change team in determining the site process conversion strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with respective Area Process/Equipment Owners, Manufacturing and Central teams to drive inline and outgoing control to meet customers’ quality requirement
  • Manage quality deviation and drive for closure of corrective/preventive actions to drive for deviation reduction and continual improvement
  • Perform Data Mining as part of problem solving. Support site focus on improving performance variation that impact quality performance
  • Work with Global Quality, Product Engineering & Central Teams to understand key customer quality issues and drive these issues to resolution within the site
  • Develop strong relationships with Global Quality, Product Engineering & Central Teams to improve business process performance.
  • Lead projects to drive Quality improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage on Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or Robotic Programming Automation (RPA) to drive Effectiveness and Efficiency improvement.
  • Serve as the coordinator between SLPO/SLPS in supporting IATF16949 for process related activities such as Effective Problem Solving Business Process (EPS BP), Material Review Board (MRB) BP and Return Material Authorization (RMA) BP.

Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/ Material/ Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron
