ExoAnalytic Solutions develops and uses a variety of modeling and simulation tools for engineering, engagement, mission and campaign-level analysis of defense and space systems. We are a recognized modeling and simulation leader with deep domain expertise and experience applying our software tools on studies and problems of national importance.

ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking a versatile professional to join our simulation and modeling team who thrives at the intersection of writing, quality assurance, and curriculum development. The ideal candidate brings a sharp eye for detail, strong editorial skills, and a knack for transforming technical content into clear, engaging learning materials and documentation. This hybrid role will involve testing software, creating and reviewing documentation, and developing curriculum resources.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain clear, concise, user-friendly documentation, manuals, guides, tutorials, and training modules. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with subject matter experts and software developers to clarify complex information. Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and best practices. Test software, documentation for accuracy, usability, and clarity and provide feedback to improve both content and user experience. Adapt complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging learning materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or errors. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software (Google Docs, LibreOffice)

Preferred Qualifications

Background in copy editing, teaching, instructional design strongly preferred

Interest and ability to learn about space, space systems, and related technologies

HOURLY RATE RANGE

$36 - $57/hour

Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
