  • Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases

  • Participate in UAT, System Integration Testing, and Performance Testing; verify Wwise plug-in functionality in Unity/Unreal across Windows and Mac

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve quality; troubleshoot environments; contribute to user experience improvements

Must-have skills

  • Experience with at least one major game engine (Unreal or Unity)

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Familiarity with Jira, Git, and scripting languages (C#, Python, etc.)

Nice-to-haves

  • Direct experience with Wwise

  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks/environments (Spectron, Mocha)

  • Familiarity with test environment setup and cross-platform testing

Join our team for Summer 2026 and experience Audiokinetic!

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate intern to join our Quality Assurance team. If you are known for your impeccable organization, your sharp sense of detail, and your ability to excel in prioritizing your tasks, this opportunity is for you!

As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will join a stimulating environment conducive to your development, within a passionate and helpful team. This tester role will lead you to collaborate closely with the team responsible for integrating Wwise software into commercial game engines (Game Integrations). Your main mission will be to verify and validate Wwise as a plug-in in the Unity and Unreal game engines and to bring your personal touch to it. If you don't yet know your main asset, you will discover it at the end of your internship.

What will you do?

The work generally involves, but is not limited to, the following tasks

Create, maintain and execute efficient test plans: own manual and automated test cases and their execution. Participate in all phases of quality assurance (User Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing). Ensure product functionality on all supported platforms (Windows and Mac). Establish, maintain and troubleshoot test environments. Work closely with the development and QA teams in order to determine the best strategies for improving quality. Communicate effectively and in a timely fashion. Suggest new ways to enhance user experience.

What do you bring to the team?

Experience with a game engine such as Unreal or Unity. Curiosity and resourcefulness. Good written and verbal communication skills.

ASSET: Experience with Wwise.

ASSET: Knowledge of bug tracking software (i.e. Jira).

ASSET: Familiarity with source control software (i.e. git).

ASSET: Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e. C#, Python, etc).

ASSET: Knowledge of automated testing environments (i.e. Spectron, Mocha).
