Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to help elevate the quality and reliability of our web applications. In this key role, you'll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to design and implement robust, scalable test automation solutions. We welcome candidates with hands-on experience in any modern automation framework or tool, and especially value experience using Playwright and TypeScript.
In this position, you will play a crucial part in ensuring fast, reliable releases by integrating automated testing into our workflows, reporting on product quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the tech organization
Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated end-to-end test scripts using modern automation frameworks or tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.). Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and define effective test automation coverage. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, report issues, and track bugs through to resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, processes, and best practices. Document test cases, procedures, and results effectively.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in automation testing. Proficiency with at least one modern automation tool or framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Robot Framework, etc.). Familiarity with at least one mainstream programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript/C#). Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines. Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Playwright and TypeScript is a PLUS
