We are seeking a highly driven Automation Engineer who can design, build, and manage automation solutions while also leading projects using Agile methodologies. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical development with project leadership, ensuring that automation initiatives are delivered on time, aligned to business goals, and continuously improved. You will work cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Product, and Business stakeholders to identify opportunities, automate processes, and drive successful project delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions including scripts, workflows, integrations, RPA, and APIs while building scalable pipelines using tools like Python, PowerShell, n8n, Make.com, UiPath, or Zapier.
• Integrate systems, applications, and data sources to eliminate manual tasks and maintain automation documentation, technical diagrams, and SOPs.
• Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across solutions.
• Lead automation projects end-to-end with Agile/Scrum practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and cross-team coordination.
• Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities, translate needs into technical specs and user stories, train end users, and promote a culture of innovation and efficiency.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 2–5+ years in automation engineering, scripting, or workflow development.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell, coupled with hands-on experience with automation platforms and tools (RPA, integration tools, CI/CD).
• Practical working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and experience managing projects in Agile environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation abilities.

Preferred: Agile or Scrum certification, cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools familiarity (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD), background in ITSM/ticketing systems, and knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
