About the Role The Project Quality Manager is a senior, hands-on role responsible for leading industrial and manufacturing quality across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
This position focuses on quality assurance in a production environment - overseeing physical systems, mechanical assemblies, manufacturing processes, and supply chain quality - not software quality or testing. The role serves as the project’s focal point for quality, ensuring that all engineering, manufacturing, and supplier activities meet internal standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. The Project Quality Manager works closely with engineers, production teams, suppliers, and customers, and is expected to “speak the language of mechanical engineering” while leading quality from development through serial production and delivery.
This is a senior-level role requiring strong technical understanding, system-level thinking, and proven leadership in a matrixed, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all project quality requirements - organizational, contractual, regulatory, and customer-driven
Own quality assurance activities from early development through manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery
Lead MRB and CAB committees and drive resolution of quality issues in production and supply chain
Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes, materials, and assemblies
Conduct and manage internal and external audits (suppliers, processes, projects)
Identify, assess, and manage project quality risks
Prepare periodic quality reports and track corrective and preventive actions
Act as the quality interface toward customers, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders
Manage quality activities in a matrix organization, including coordination with subcontractors and external partners

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Systems Engineering / Reliability Engineering - mandatory
