DESCRIPTION
This role is focused on the hands-on, post-silicon validation and characterization of critical analog and mixed-signal IP, such as PLLs, data converters, and high-speed I/O interfaces. You will develop and execute detailed test plans, automate lab measurements, and analyze data to ensure our circuits meet stringent performance and quality standards. Your findings will directly influence design improvements and contribute to the successful launch of Apple's next-generation SoCs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS and 3 +years of relevant industry experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and pattern generators. Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for test automation and data processing. Proven experience developing test plans, building test benches, and performing automated data collection for analog/mixed-signal circuits. Strong fundamental understanding of analog and
mixed-signal circuitry in one or more of the following domains: PLLs, DLLs, Data Converters (ADC/DAC), DDR memory interfaces, or high-speed SerDes. Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis. Hands-on lab skills, including soldering and reworking boards for probing and debug. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Demonstrated initiative in taking ownership of tasks and driving deliverables to completion.
