Conduct QA/QC assessments in residential homes per program guidelines
Perform detailed field inspections, verifying quantities and technologies for rebate applications; prepare summary reports
Interact with contractors/homeowners; assist in program strategy evolution and outreach campaigns; coordinate QA/QC activities
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience; 1+ year in energy efficiency/residential construction)
Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/background checks
Basic mechanical skills; able to lift up to 30 pounds; climb stairs/ladders; drive/walk/stand
BPI-BAT certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
Experience with MHIC-licensed companies; strong interpersonal skills
Experience performing residential inspections and with energy efficiency technologies
Prior involvement in energy efficiency programs; customer service or sales experience

Location: Maryland (Remote - Home Office with Local Travel) Ready to make a Difference? ICF is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector, based in Maryland to assist in the delivery of residential energy efficiency programs. The QA/QC Inspector is to conduct comprehensive energy efficiency quality assessments in accordance with utility program standards in Maryland.
