Develop and support Wireless MAC and subsystem verification plans, specifications, and validation of wireless IPs

Create/maintain module/IP level verification, emulation, and validation test plans; lead technical guidance across teams

Implement verification environments; perform design validation via FPGA and post-silicon lab execution; address low-power verification (UPF) and multi-domain clocking
Must-have skills

BSEE with ~10 years or MSEE with ~7.5 years in verification of communication protocols

Job Description
As a part of Wireless Solutions Group (WSG), an individual contributor in verification or design role with experience with wireless or communication protocols. Candidate will work on verification, validation and design of Wireless Silicon products in 802.15.4 UWB, Bluetooth & WiFi IoT space. A well organized, methodical, detail oriented, and self-motivated team player. You will be a part of a team involved in the development of specifications, verification, validation, FPGA emulation and design of IEEE 802.15.4 UWB, BLE & WiFi IP and silicon products. Ideal candidate will work with architects, other design and verification engineers, software and chip verification teams to ensure smooth integration of Wireless subsystem in the SoCs. Ideal candidate will be a master’s/ bachelor’s in electrical engineering in telecommunications major.
Job Duties
Participate in development and support of Wireless MAC and subsystem verification plan, functional specifications, and validation of wireless MAC IP and provide technical leadership. Create and maintain module/IP level verification, emulation and validation test plan. Provide technical support and guidance to SW and cross-functional teams. Implement the verification environment in Verilog, System Verilog, UVM and use SVA. Work on low power design verification including UPF working with multiple power domains and clock gating. Writing the test code in C/C++ and Scripting for automation using Perl, TCL etc. Perform design validation using FPGA and post-silicon platforms in the lab.
Qualifications
Requirements/Qualifications
BSEE with 10 years of experience or MSEE with 7.5 years of experience in verification of communication protocol designs. Candidate can be either from design or verification background with domain knowledge of wireless protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4 UWB, BLE or IEEE 802.11ax WiFi. Understanding of all aspects of Digital HW verification including embedded C based verification, UVM, SVA, Gate level simulations, UPF and low power design verification. Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL for design & verification. Understanding of Makefiles (make flow), Perl / shell scripting and basic understanding of embedded C based verification. Self-starter and good communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to physically work in Lab and move around lab equipment as needed.
Preferred Skills
FPGA emulation and lab validation. Understanding of Matlab communication system models.

Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
