We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests, identifying and resolving issues, and continuously improving testing processes in close collaboration with international stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid 3 x weekly from the office- Bratislava or Brno

Your Responsibilities Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely, meaningful feedback. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts. Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the development lifecycle. Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes. Collaborate with the US-based Quality Lead to define and apply testing processes for new and existing products. Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify system requirements and expectations. Monitor debugging results and investigate the root causes of non-conforming software. Support users in implementing solutions and improvements. Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts. Stay up to date with new testing tools, frameworks, and strategies.

Requirements Experience working as a QA Engineer within a Scrum / Agile team. Hands-on experience with testing tools and test automation. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress.IO, Pytest, Selenium, or Cucumber. Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C#, C++, Python, TypeScript).

Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a varied technology stack, including

• Windows, Linux, Unix, Azure
• C/C++, C#/.NET, Java, Python, TypeScript, Bash, PowerShell
• Git and CI/CD concepts
• Relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Experience working with IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio Code) is an advantage.
