We are looking for a QA Engineer to join an international telecommunications company working on large-scale, mission-critical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of telecom platforms used by thousands of users worldwide.
Location: Bratislava or Brno
Cooperation: COW (TPP/HPP) or B2B - freelancing, long term cooperation
Start date: immediately or upon agreement
Working model: 2-3x per week on-site, EMEA hours
What You Will Do Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts Perform manual, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing Identify, document, track, and verify defects Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify system requirements Monitor debugging and testing results and investigate root causes of defects Support the improvement of QA processes together with the US-based Quality Lead Track and report QA metrics (defect density, defect trends, open defects) Stay up to date with modern testing tools and best practices
What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester Fluent English (spoken and written) – daily communication in an international environment Proven experience working as part of an Agile / SCRUM team Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing Practical experience with test automation Experience at the level of test automation architect or automation programmer is a strong advantage Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Willingness and ability to learn new technologies (technology stack varies by project)
