Industrial Process Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

What You Will Enjoy Doing

In this role, you will develop, implement, maintain and troubleshoot remote monitoring applications, advanced process control and real-time optimization and automation solutions with small team of experts You will define and implement interfaces between the solution and other systems on plant site (e.g. measuring systems, DCS, PLC, Machine Monitoring, IT systems & infrastructure) You will program logics, automatic sequences and control functions required for the solution In addition, you will collaborate with internal IT & OT team of Linde, sub suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of automation projects Furthermore you participate in the overall product development and management for asset monitoring and advanced automation solutions

What Makes You Great

Ideally you have 5 years experience in process automation with system integrator, control system OEM or EPC contractor Additionally, 3 years experience with process plants in Oil and Gas , industrial gases or hydrogen industries is a plus Very good English, both written and spoken Experience with programming controls and logics using function blocks, scripts and ladder logic Knowledge of loop check, function check and troubleshooting for control system You managed clients and sub supplier to execute automation projects successfully You can specify and test control system hardware including I/O system and server cabinets Hands on experience with implementing communication interfaces like Modbus TCP/IP , OPC DA and OPC UA , Profibus/Profinet Implementation experience with Siemens , Rockwell PLCs configuration as well as with DCS programming of Yokogawa, Honeywell Knowledge about virtual machines , IT networking infrastructures and firewalls A great deal of tenacity and intrinsic motivation
