Role & seniority: Lead Automation/Systems Engineer (lead engineer/mentoring role) responsible for delivering control systems and guiding a team of engineers/technicians on projects.

Lead project delivery: design, development, testing, on-site commissioning, and oversight of 1-3 person projects; mentor engineers and support training plans.
Develop and implement control systems: PLC/DCS configuration, control architecture, electrical panels and wiring drawings, system sizing, and equipment selection.
Interfaces with clients/partners: collaborate in teams to meet client needs, provide process control solutions for process manufacturing, HVAC/building automation relevance, and site support in Malaysia and abroad.
B.S. in Engineering, Physics, or related field; 2+ years automation experience
Electrical design, process control, and building automation fundamentals
Experience with PLC/DCS programming and HMI/SCADA software; familiarity with multiple platforms

A Lead Automation/Systems Engineer at RoviSys will serve as a software or hardware lead on projects, as well as possess the ability to understand functional specifications and/or design specifications and translate that knowledge in the implementation of control systems. A lead engineer will be expected to develop skills required to successfully implement an entire project from both a control system software and hardware standpoint. A Lead Engineer will act as a mentor to Engineers and support training plans for Engineers.
Platforms: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Schneider, etc. Process understanding of batch or continuous process control, combustion control, etc. Process understanding of Chiller Controls, HVAC Controls, etc. Awareness of process safety, validation and good documentation practices.
Programming languages: PLC ladder Logic, Function Block, SFC VB, etc. Third-party HMI/SCADA Software, i.e. Ignition, FTView SE, AVEVA System Platform, TIA Portal, etc.
Others: Network design/administration.
B. S in Engineering, Physics and related fields.
