Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance test plans and test cases
Assist with automated test development and supporting scripts/utilities for test execution

Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
Fundamental understanding of embedded systems, firmware behavior, or SDK development
Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting language

About the Role We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to help validate the stability, performance, and reliability of our firmware and SDK. You will work closely with embedded engineering teams to execute tests, identify issues, and help ensure product quality before release. This is a hybrid role based in Taiwan.
Responsibilities
Execute test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Assist in developing automated test cases to improve testing efficiency
Write or update simple scripts and utilities to support test execution
Collaborate with embedded engineers to understand firmware and SDK behaviors and identify potential issues
Reproduce, document, and track defects using internal tools
Assist in maintaining test environments and test documentation
Support test planning and review activities as part of the QA team
Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Fundamental understanding of embedded systems, firmware behavior, or SDK development
Familiarity with Python or another scripting language
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn automated testing tools and QA methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Linux-based development or test environments
Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira
Academic or internship experience in software testing or embedded systems
Interest in embedded hardware and cross-platform testing
