NOTE - Experience with architecture/design authority and influencing decisions and outcomes. The other key areas they will focus on during the interview process is hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and how candidates implemented security and CI/CD pipelines, and experience working within AWS cloud environments.

Overview - Design, build, and operate an automation-first platform leveraging RHEL, Ansible Automation Platform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AWS. Enable self-service for application teams through secure, scalable, and observable platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate platform operations using Ansible (Core & Automation Platform).
• Design and maintain IaC for AWS resources with Terraform (preferred).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and configuration.
• Standardize RHEL lifecycle management (build, harden, patch).
• Develop and document architecture/design standards and best practices for the Linux environment
• Create secure patterns for identity, access, and secrets management.
• Build self-service experiences (catalog items, reference architectures).
• Establish observability baselines and drive incident response.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and App teams; champion GitOps practices.

Must Have

• 5+ years Linux administration (RHEL expertise).
• 3+ years AWS at scale; multi-account governance.
• Hands-on with Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong scripting (Bash/Python) and CI/CD experience.
• Knowledge of security/compliance and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Experience with production operations and incident management.

Nice to Have

• Red Hat/AWS certifications; Kubernetes/EKS or OpenShift experience.
