Role & seniority: Automation/Software Test Engineer (5–8 years experience), focused on design, development, simulation, and testing of automation products and processes.
Stack/tools: Automation frameworks; test planning and case development; functional, regression, and performance testing; continuous deployment collaboration; backend/database programming; adherence to WIPRO standards; agile delivery.
Analyze requirements, architecture, and dependencies; formulate project plans; contribute to automation roadmap and reusable libraries.
Design, execute, and maintain automated tests; develop test plans, cases, and metrics; track defects and resolutions; ensure coverage of functional/non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with agile teams, stakeholders, and SMEs to define acceptance criteria; support CI/CD practices; document projects per guidelines; ensure clear communication and maintainability.
5–8 years of relevant experience in automation/testing
Strong ability to design and implement automated testing tools and test cases
Experience with Agile delivery, test automation backlog, and acceptance criteria
Backend/database programming capability
Ability to document, track issues, and maintain automated frameworks
Experience building reusable libraries across business lines
Knowledge of automation architectures and performance testing
Familiarity with WIPRO standard
