We are seeking a highly experienced Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to lead and shape T&E delivery across a major capability program. This is a critical onsite contract role for a technically strong engineer who thrives in complex, high-assurance environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead end-to-end T&E strategy, planning, and execution across the system life cycle Exercise delegated technical authority to safeguard engineering integrity Drive verification and validation activities, analysing complex data to produce evidence-based insights Provide authoritative T&E advice influencing capability, risk, and performance decisions Develop high-quality, audit-ready engineering documentation Collaborate across engineering, safety, operations, and project teams to ensure integrated delivery Mentor team members and strengthen organisational T&E maturity What We’re Looking For
Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline Extensive experience in aviation, aerospace, defence, or other complex systems environments Strong background in quality and risk management frameworks Demonstrated experience with verification, validation, certification, and compliance processes Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence without formal authority Strong analytical capability and structured engineering judgement Mandatory Requirements
