Perform electrical testing on products, components, and systems. Identify product failures and work with engineers in troubleshooting those failures. Perform calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on test lab and production floor equipment. Work with production supervisor to identify required product test and validation requirements on the production floor. Set up and perform such testing as required including working in production assembly cells in a test capacity. Implement corrective actions in test methods or product assembly as required. Support all required electrical and mechanical safety requirements in the work cells by inspection and implementation as required. Support quality technicians by analyzing returned units and determining root cause analysis. Troubleshoot warranty and service issues and complete repairs as needed. High school diploma or GED, with 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment 2 years of experience with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, and troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic circuits using tools such as a digital multimeter and other standard test equipment 2 years of experience with the ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and test specifications accurately 2 years of experience with the ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing in the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of Windsor, CT will be considered. 2+ years of education or experience with the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems and products. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP. Understanding of product validation testing (environmental, electrical, mechanical). Experience with the troubleshooting and repair of printed circuit boards. Proficiency in basic testing tools including DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, hi-pot and megger testers, calipers & dial indicators, environmental chambers, and similar.
