Job Description
- The PLM Integration and Test Lead designs, develops the overall integration and testing scheme/approach for the new PLM development and then manages the overall integration and testing activates of the PLM team to ensure PLM capabilities function as an element and within the integrated L3Harris system with high quality and reliability for sustained business success.
Essential Functions
Leads the design and development of the Integration and test plan with the PLM Leads Develops and manages overall Test and Integration Plan and leads implementation and tracking of the plan for the PLM DT Drives a Design for Test and Integration mindset in the overall PLM Team Ensures each capability is functionally validated and performance achieved in the integrated system for successful business execution Leads team in the development of efficient and robust test methodologies Organizes use cases and scenarios to test Grades and ranks test and integration activities to enable prioritization based on risk, criticality, etc Leads teams in conducting independent Failure Modes Effects Analysis of IT Vendor designs to identify high risk, high probability modes of failure, prioritize importance and mitigation activities Leads interface between L3Harris functional I&T team execution and IT/contractor developing and setting reporting workflow and expectations for individual capability working groups Manages the troubleshooting interface with IT and vendors Track and monitors and reports functional progress of test and integration Manages, tracks and reports functional integration and test activities status Organizes program and business specific I&T activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field) and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience Experience in large-scale PLM implementation, development, test or migration projects. Experience with mechanical and electrical engineering design processes, configuration management principles, and product data management. Experience with a major PLM platform and its integration with major MCAD and ECAD tools.
Preferred Additional Skills
Familiarity with the specific challenges and requirements of the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry TS/SCI Clearance
