Context

To continue IKOS’s growth in Canada, we are recruiting several Systems Validation Engineers who are keen to take part in our missions in Montreal. As part of the team, you will contribute to the Verification, Validation, and Integration of train systems and subsystems. You will also support in defining, executing, and documenting test activities conducted in lab settings as well as under field conditions.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for train subsystems.
Conducting verification and validation activities across HIL benches, simulators, and field testing for train systems and subsystems.
Completing modelling and simulation activities based on electrical schematics for railway systems.
Developing and configuring test environments and test benches, including hardware, software, and system configurations.
Carrying out functional, integration, and system-level tests.
Reviewing test results, logs, and traces, and documenting conclusions in a standardised manner.
Assisting with integration tasks and technical investigations during test campaigns

We'd love you to apply if

You must hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in the Science or Engineering field, preferably Electrical.
Relevant experience in the railway or related industry.
Knowledge of electrical schematics, modelling and simulation, test benches, and HIL testing is highly preferred.
Experience in the railway system development lifecycle.
