Role & seniority: Test Manager (senior, with 10+ years in software testing; 3–5+ years in a Test Manager or equivalent role)
Stack/tools: Test management (TestRail, JIRA), automation (Selenium, Robot Framework), CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with TMMi; tooling for testing frameworks
Define test planning and scope for each release/delivery; ensure quality standards

The Test Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing activities within the project, ensuring that the test processes, tools, and team are optimized to meet project goals. The ideal candidate will manage the scope of testing, control test activities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases.
This role is open only to Malaysian citizens.
Requirements
Test Planning & Scope Definition: Define the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the product are tested and meet quality standards.
Test Coordination & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and control various testing activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring that tests are executed on time and with accuracy.
Resource Management: Manage and grow the testing team, ensuring the right mix of skills, competencies, and tools to meet the demands of the project. Oversee the acquisition and deployment of testing tools, processes, and methodologies.
Test Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with the project's goals, including functional, non-functional, and performance testing.
Risk Management: Identify potential testing risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure that these risks are addressed early in the process.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing activities comply with the organization's quality standards and that test results are appropriately documented, communicated, and actioned upon.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to provide clear updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze the outcomes of testing and continuously seek improvements in the testing process, tools, and methodologies.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Certification: ISTQB CFTL (Test Manager or Automation Specialist) a MUST, CTAL-TM is a plus
Experience: 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Test Manager or similar role, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
Certified Test Manager (CTM) or equivalent PMP or PRINCE2 (a plus, but not mandatory)
