Overview Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create Test Cases/Test Data Using Software Programs – Coordinating Testing by All Stakeholders Work Closely with Business Analysis and Engineering Staff to Ensure Test Cases are Valid Document, Track, and Communicate Test Plans, Test Results, Analysis, and Unresolved Problems Follow defect tracking processes; including software defect documentation, defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps) utilization, ensuring open defects are monitored and escalated as needed based on aging and priority Lead Testing Efforts for Functional Areas Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts to ensure sufficient test coverage of Mortgage Connect Applications and APIs Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices Design test plans to determine product quality or release readiness Partner with Software Engineers, System Integrators, Product Owners to deliver high performing quality customer experiences Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules Identify interdependencies, ambiguities or omissions, and make suggestions to improve requirements and ensure usability/testability Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, with focus to mitigate risks Communicate about roadblocks or defects in a clear and concise manner Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or Writing, or Equivalent Work Experience 7+ Years of experience in Quality Engineering 1+ Years of Related Work Experience Ideally in the Title or Real Estate Industry 5+ years of experience implementing test automation solutions Mortgage Connect is a national mortgage service provider specializing in assisting mortgage lenders with a multitude of services they need in connection with a loan.
