Role & seniority: Junior RF Verification Engineer (student-friendly; entry/intermediate level)
Stack/tools: RFIC verification for 5G; RF lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators); Python (test automation); data tracking with Bugzilla; lab maintenance

About the Job As an Junior RF Verification Engineer, you'll contribute to the development and testing of Bridgecom's Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFICs) for 5G applications. This is a hands-on role where you will support the senior engineering team by assisting with lab measurements, test setup, and tool maintenance. This position is ideal for a student eager to gain practical experience with RF measurement equipment and understand the verification process from a foundational level.
Your Profile
Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of RF circuit theory and basic concepts like gain, linearity, and noise.
Programming Interest: Exposure to or strong interest in scripting/programming (preferably Python) for test automation.
Lab Skills: Familiarity with basic lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, function generators) is a plus; eagerness to learn specialized RF equipment is essential.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills for working within a team.

Education and Experience Currently enrolled in an accredited university program (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Specialization and interest in RF (RF circuit design or RF-Measurements-Techniques) No prior professional work experience is required.
Your Responsibilities
Hands-on Lab Support: Assist in setting up and performing basic RF measurements on receiver and transmitter circuits (e.g., measuring gain, checking signal integrity).
Test Automation Support: Assist the team in developing and updating Python scripts used for test automation and data analysis.
Data and Issue Tracking: Support the team in documenting test results, linking them to requirements, and entering basic issues into the tracking system (like Bugzilla).
Test Environment Maintenance: Help maintain the functionality of the RF component verification lab and measurement setups.
Documentation: Contribute to generating initial measurement data and assisting in the preparation of measurement reports.
