ROLE: Senior QA

Location: Costa Rica Contract

MUST HAVE

• At least 5+ years of working and hands on experience with Cypress and TypeScript
• At least 10+ years of IT experience in Testing
• Should have worked with US based customers in past

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress (heavy, proficient user), Jmeter, and Postman
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes
• Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance

• Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
• Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
• Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing
• Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
• Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
• Proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues
