DEPT Americas TSR: Test Lead – Automation (G5) Role : Senior QA MUST HAVE • At least 5+ years of working and hands on experience with Cypress and TypeScript • At least 10+ years of IT experience in Testing • Should have worked with US based customers in past Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans - Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers - Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress (heavy, proficient user), Jmeter, and Postman - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality - Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle - Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes - Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance Tech skills Soft Skills - Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools - Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts - Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing - Familiarity with source/version control such as Git - Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects - Proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues
