Job Description: Teamcenter Functional Tester

Location: The majority of the work will be executed in El Cajon, San Diego

US Citizenship. The majority of the data we deal with is military classified in different forms (ITAR) and some has US Person/Citizen only requirements, So US person is a requirement to be fully engaged.

Preferably we need the resource on site San Diego for the majority of the time working with the Team. However. Once relationship is established, we can also consider partly working from our Site in Newington Connecticut or virtually from home

Teamcenter functional tester, preferably with Manufacturing Engineering and NX knowledge

Manage and assist the client PLM implementation team in the development of all testing-related activities, test documentation, including test and resource plans, test cases/scripts, checklists, bug reports, and test result tracking using JIRA/ALM tools Define QA deliverables (for both manual and automated as appropriate) based on the scope Develop and maintain resource plan to ensure the testing is adequately staffed for the successful execution of the testing cycles to adhere to Release plan Work with the project team to identify, log and track issues using defect tracking tools Proactively identify and escalate critical issues, blockers and risks and propose mitigation plan to minimize the impact on the project timelines Provide inputs during project planning (resource requirements, test estimates, etc.) and throughout the development life cycle to ensure business objectives are met Work collaboratively with analysts, architects and subject matter experts Ability to prioritize and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience and understanding test methodologies and resource planning is essential 5+ years’ experience leading, managing & developing a team of testers 10 years’ experience with hands-on manual and automation testing with multiple, integrated, applications Experience with Teamcenter PLM and Selenium automation, with experience in NX integration testing Experience with PLM Domain with testing experience in Manufacturing Engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid time management and prioritization skills Hands on experience with Jira or similar test and defect management tools. Experience with an agile/iterative development life cycle testing Proven test & defect management skills Experience in Selenium Web-drivers, develop and maintain automation scripts, deploy and run in different test environment Prepare test reports (manual and automation) for status updates and management review
