Role Overview & what we look for As an E-Software Integration Test Senior Engineer, The candidate is responsible for performing both Software Unit verification and Software Integration Tests based on the needs of the project, delivering on-time test results and reports with high quality and standards for Automotive/ Industrial projects, also being Cooperative in mentoring juniors in the team.
Key Responsibilities
Software Integration Test: Responsible for writing test specifications with the input of SW Architecture design and code, creating and handling test cases for integrated software elements with the aim of finding bugs in SW.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
SW Architecture design & SW Detailed design: With the responsibility for testing SWAD and SWDD, Should perform peer review of those in the process of validation.
Test Review and Quality Assurance: Review test cases written by other team members to ensure adherence to testing standards, performance optimization, and maintainability. Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify software defects.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including test process documents, and user manuals.
Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the "Embedded" domain. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can enhance the software testing process and product performance.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, estimate effort, and SW testing planning. Ensure test deliverables are delivered on time and within budget, meeting the specified quality standards.
Core Competencies Extensive experience in white box testing(testing of Embedded C) , including hands-on experience with Embedded software unit and integration testing in the Automotive domain. Proven track record of performing software integration testing , with a focus on delivering successful tasks on time and within budget. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges. Experience with version control tools (e.g., SVN), debugging tools, and software testing methodologies. Experience with Independent Verification and Validation models in automotive software development methodologies. Passion for technology and a drive to stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations. Experience in testing of SW with the international standard that governs functional safety (ISO26262), ASPICE. Experience with Software unit and integration testing automation tools like Tessy or similar tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
