Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role Spearhead test architecture definition and test specification activities Software Validation of device drivers (Eg :UART, SPI, DMA, DIO, GTM,Timers, ADC, and PWM etc.) or Complex Device Drivers and safety software in an independent/RTOS environment on Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers Develop Test Strategy and institutionalize the methods and related templates to enable the usage of the tools and test equipment wherever required/possible Envisage, implement, institutionalize and maintain the verificationand validation methods and infrastructure (e.g. automation to improve quality and efficiency in terms of cost and time ) Drive innovation in the form of new advancements (test methods/tools,test automation, test infrastructure) in the team Institutionalize software test processes compliant with Automotivestandards (e.g.ISO26262, ASPICE) Accountable for overall quality of validation deliverables Able to set the technical direction by providing suitable methods fortesting /validation in the complete project. Ownership in reviews, Code /Test reviews. Conduct workshops and mentor the team on technical challenges being faced from time to time. (e.g. safety issues, common testing issues,) To participate in Change control board meetings and ability totechnically argue the safety assessments by providing necessary evidences. Plan and participate in future technologies and projects Generate new methods and techniques for better work models
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Device Driver software testing which includes a good know how of standard software development Life Cycle. Experience in AUTOSAR MCAL and exposure to ISO26262 [Expertise inother domains with embedded background more than welcome] Embedded system software development or Validation using C, assemblylanguages. Experience in the usage of LabView, NI FPGA, oscilloscopes, logicanalysers, power benches etc. Experience in embedded system development tools such as compilers,debuggers, static analysers etc. Working experience in scripting languages such as Perl, python, C# etc. Experience in the development/maintenance of the test automation and continuous integration frameworks Good knowledge of computer architecture (16/32bit), real-time systems . Working experience on multicore platforms Ability and willingness to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Additional skills like Estimation planning, tracking is required on need basis
