Salary: SGD 64,500 - SGD 72,000 / year
Role & seniority: Engineer II, Quality Assurance (QA)
Stack / tools: Windows/Web/Mobile testing; test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Appium); MS SQL & SQL scripting; CI/CD integration; test environments and data management
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans; document results to ensure user requirements are met
Build, maintain, and scale reusable test automation frameworks; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), track defects, and liaise with development to resolve issues; establish QA standards and procedures
Foundation in software testing/QA; experience with Windows/Web/Mobile testing
Automation tooling experience (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
Proficient SQL skills (MS SQL, SQL scripting); agile/rapid development experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; team player who can work independently
Experience with testing in public transport or large-scale software environments
Familiarity with QA methodologies, documentation standards, and off-site/UAT support
Location & work type: Singapore-based, hybrid work options; travel to off-site testing facilities for UAT as needed

What You Will Do
At SPL, you are an integral part of our team - driving meaningful projects and witnessing the tangible difference your work makes. As an Engineer II, Quality Assurance, you will support software testing activities to uphold product reliability and performance. You will also help ensure that applications meet user requirements and adhere to established quality standards.
Key Tasks You Will Be Involved In Manage software testing & training environments to gather the resources required such as hardware, software and data records. Develop comprehensive software test plans, execute test cases, and document results to ensure applications meet user requirements. Build and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and follow up with the development team on defect resolution. Evaluate, recommend and implement tools for enhance and streamline the software testing process. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback Establish and document standards, methodologies and procedures to assess software quality and readiness for release. Travel to off-site testing facilities to support and conduct UAT when needed.
