• SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Manual QA Engineer. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Purpose of the role

• You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by applying industry-standard QA practices and tools.
• You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to design, execute, and optimize test plans across the full software development lifecycle.
• Your work will help identify and resolve issues early, drive continuous improvements in testing processes, and contribute to seamless, high-quality product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Participation in refinement sessions and QA process improvements;
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and lead testing initiatives;
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach to quality;
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, DevOps, Backend, Frontend)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance;
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, Zephyr);
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience with REST API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger, automated API scripts);
• Knowledge of browser dev tools, network analysis, and debugging techniques;
• Proficiency in defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good spoken and written English communication skills (B2+ or higher);
• Russian – native-level proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO);
• Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android);
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., gambling, banking, health tech);
