Role & seniority: Senior Consultant (Test Lead)
Stack/tools: Salesforce ecosystem (Core Platform: Sales/Service Cloud; Experience Cloud portals), Jira, Qmetry; related systems (MS Dynamics, Payroll) as plus; public sector experience preferred
Lead software testing team, manage workload and ensure timely delivery
Serve as testing owner/escalation point for squads/streams; translate test strategy into actionable plans
Mentor testers, provide feedback for performance reviews; assess risks and set testing priorities
Must-have skills: 8+ years formal software testing; lead/coaching experience; experience in high-impact, business-critical testing (preferably public sector); proficient across test types (system, integration, regression, end-to-end, exploratory); proficient with Jira and Qmetry
Nice-to-haves: Experience with MS Dynamics, Salesforce (Core Platform, Employer/Partner Portals), Payroll systems; NZ public sector domain knowledge

As a Senior Consultant you’ll take the lead in shaping how testing and quality engineering come to life across a range of exciting projects and client engagements. You’ll work directly with clients, helping them design, implement, and optimise testing strategies that deliver real value, and you’ll play a key role in lifting testing capability within Assurity and across the wider ICT community.
The Role
The initial engagement requires an experienced Test Lead to operate onsite in the Wellington CBD. Your focus will be on setting our client up for success by supporting the delivery of world-class quality assurance software solutions to a major public sector project.
About You
It would be helpful if you have experience with MS Dynamics, Salesforce or Payroll systems. Bring a minimum of 8+ years experience in formal software testing, with exposure to test planning and a proven experience in a lead capacity. Be experienced in applying established knowledge of the New Zealand public sector environment, particularly relating to business-critical systems.
Be proficient in modern methodologies, and experienced in the full test scope: system, integration, regression, end-to-end testing, exploratory testing. Be comfortable with key test management and reporting tools, including but not limited to Jira and Qmetry
