Full Description
Job Summary As a QA/UAT Tester (IC2) in the Finergy team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications and banking solutions. You will design, execute, and document functional, regression, and user acceptance testing activities, collaborating across teams to validate releases and support deployment. Your expertise in SDLC, STLC, and defect management will help us drive continual process improvement and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced financial services environment. Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in software/application testing.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and identify appropriate test scopes and scenarios.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining test cases, UAT checklists, and supporting documentation.
- Experience validating business processes through hands-on functional and scenario-based testing.
- Proficiency in SQL, including working across multiple tables and views.
- Strong skills in defect tracking and reporting, preferably using JIRA or similar tools.
- Experience coordinating release cycles, sign-offs, and deployment support.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Good-to-Have
- Experience testing in the capital markets domain.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
- Exposure to CI/CD environments and modern testing pipelines.
