Role & seniority: Regression/infrastructure automation engineer for chip verification (location: Austin, TX; hybrid role; not visa-sponsored)
Stack / tools: Perl, Python, shell scripting (some Ruby); Jenkins; MySQL or similar DB; Linux/Unix administration; job scheduling (LSF, Grid Engine, Slurm); Perforce, Git; CI/CD and regression infrastructure; AI tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot); simulation/DV environments
Develop and maintain automation scripts for verification infrastructure maintenance tasks
Develop and maintain the verification cloud infrastructure
Develop and maintain AI solution for regression job memory usage prediction system
Strong software engineering background with expert-level Python, Perl, and shell scripting
Experience with regression infrastructure or CI/CD systems (Jenkins)
Experience with database administration (MySQL or similar)
Experience with job scheduling systems (LSF, Grid Engine, Slurm or similar)
Experience with version control (Perforce, Git) and Linux/Unix administration
Experience with simulation/DV environments; ability to collaborate across teams/time zones
Ruby experience
