About the Role The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Prague R&D office. As a Performance QA Engineer, you will work on large‑scale, real‑world backup and data protection scenarios used by enterprises worldwide. Your work will directly influence the scalability, reliability, and performance of Veeam products running in some of the most demanding environments. What You'll Do Design and execute performance, load, and scalability testing for major components of Veeam products (from requirement analysis and lab design to test execution and results analysis) Build and maintain realistic enterprise‑grade test environments, including large infrastructures and complex topologies Identify performance bottlenecks and system limits, and work closely with developers, functional QA, and product managers to resolve them Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues reported by Technical Support and customers
Own and evolve performance test labs: environment creation, configuration, monitoring, and collaboration with IT teams What You'll Bring Technical education or a strong, hands‑on passion for systems and performance 1–2 years of experience in performance and/or load testing (or a strong practical background in system performance) Ability to analyze test results and clearly identify bottlenecks, limits, and performance risks Solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux at an advanced user or system administration level
