Job DetailsJob Location: Corry PA - Corry, PA 16407Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnySHIFTS AVAILABLE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 3:00PM - 11:00PM & 11:00PM - 7:00AM Job Description: Assembling, pressure testing, and inspecting layflat hoses to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers, in a very fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will be versatile, reliable, and willing to learn. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the testing of layflat hoses Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision Help in cutting, fitting, and assembling hose components Inspect hoses and fittings for quality and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient workflow Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred but not required Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good physical stamina and overall fitness Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity About Us: Midwest Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting wholesale distributors in North America.
