Role & seniority: High-ownership GTM Automation Engineer; not a classic RevOps admin. Owns end-to-end automation infrastructure for revenue execution at scale.
Stack/tools: SaaS tool subscriptions; iPaaS/workflow orchestration (n8n, Make, Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, Retool); APIs/Webhooks/Auth (REST, OAuth, webhook patterns); data dashboards and governance.
Architect and harden automations across the GTM lifecycle (marketing, sales, customer success) including inbound routing, outbound sequences, and lifecycle triggers.
Data hygiene, governance, and system reliability (dedupe, lifecycle definitions, naming conventions, access controls; health checks and audits).
Integrations, observability, and dashboards (build/maintain iPaaS/API integrations; monitor uptime, data-flow checks; maintain GTM truth layer dashboards).
Hands-on ownership of automations (workflows, segmentation, lifecycle stages, routing, scoring, dashboards).
Strong experience with at least one automation/orchestration tool (n8n/Make/Zapier/Workato/Tray.io, etc.).
Proficiency with APIs/webhooks/auth and designing reliable integrations; systems thinking and attention to detail; ability to translate ambiguous GTM asks into scalable specs.
Scripting (Python/JS/TS) and SQL for validation/analysis.
Experience building monitoring/diagnostics for automations (health checks, alerts, uptime).

About the job
iPaaS/workflow orchestration: n8n, Make, Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, Retool
APIs/Webhooks/Auth: REST, webhook patterns, OAuth (Greenhouse)
Architect + harden automations across the GTM lifecycle: Build and maintain workflows across marketing, sales, and customer success functions
Inbound automation: capture qualify route follow up. Own inbound flows: forms, chat handoffs, meeting booking triggers, lead capture, enrichment, and automated follow-ups. Build routing that's fast and correct (SLA-based, territory/segment logic, dedupe-safe). The "routing + alerts + enforcement" pattern shows up strongly in top GTM Engineer postings.
Outbound enablement: sequences, alerts, and handoffs. Build workflows for SDR/AEs: sequencing triggers, task creation, SLA alerts, pipeline hygiene enforcement, leadership notifications, and stage/field completeness checks. Data hygiene + governance (you are the quality gate). Own deduplication strategy, lifecycle stage definitions, property governance, naming conventions, and access controls. Set up system health checks and regular audits to prevent drift and catch silent breaks early.
Integrations + workflow observability: Build/maintain integrations across tools using iPaaS + APIs/webhooks. Implement monitoring: workflow uptime, failure alerts, data-flow checks, and a lightweight "runbook" for incident response.
Dashboards + reporting (GTM truth layer): Build/maintain dashboards for: leads, MQLs, pipeline creation, conversion rates, speed-to-lead, sequence performance, workflow health, and funnel leakage.
Documentation that survives scale: Document workflows, integration maps, decision logic, and governance so systems are auditable and easy to extend.
This is a high-ownership role with technical scope. This is not a classic RevOps admin role. You're building the automation infrastructure that makes revenue execution reliable at scale.
Other requirements
Systems thinking + close attention to detail: you prevent silent breaks, enforce hygiene, and ship with safeguards. Can translate messy GTM asks into clean specs + scalable logic (ambiguity → structure)
