We are currently recruiting for a Senior Integration Test Engineer.
What You Will Do In The Position
Product Release Testing Designs and develops, maintains, executes, and reports on test cases for the various product releases. Performs black-box testing of released products or products under development to reveal defects and design problems. Manages defects throughout the life cycle of iterative software and hardware releases using TargetProcess. Defines and performs unit tests on components and objects of a given firmware/software project. Uses test tools to assess the audio quality and data integrity of the products. Maintains knowledge of current and future Clear-Com and Trilogy projects. Develops and maintains the processes and initiatives within the department. Helps development of the other team members in their system knowledge and test skills. Sustaining Product Testing Investigates customer problems with existing products containing software or firmware reported by end-user, Sales, Marketing, Service Division or Engineering. Assists development engineers by reproducing defects reported by customers in a released product. Maintains a high level of expertise in at least two released Clear-Com or Trilogy products. Provides customer-facing acceptance and regression test reports and documentation as required by new opportunities or contracts. Performs all other job functions as assigned. What You Will Need To Succeed
Qualifications Proven experience as a Test Engineer/Software Engineer. Experience with system testing, IP, networking, SIP. The ability to create, organize, execute and verify complex test cases based on specifications delivered by design engineers. Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for both software and hardware issues. Thorough understanding of product life cycle including agile, waterfall and V models. Experience of working in an Agile team an advantage. Understanding of automated testing using the latest tools available. The ability to create test scripts and test harnesses. Good understanding of standard programming languages (Python, C#.net). Experience in writing programs in Python an advantage. Experience of working in an Agile team an advantage. Knowledge of Linux operating system internals an advantage. Excellent communicator, both written and oral with co-workers and management staff. Ability to interact with a wide variety of parties (engineering, management, customers, manufacturing, etc.). Quality conscious, constantly looking for improvements.
