Role & seniority: Senior Test Engineer
Stack/tools: IP network testing, embedded systems testing, audio testing; test case design across software/firmware/hardware; black box and unit testing; defect tracking; Python programming and Linux OS knowledge are advantageous
Design, develop, maintain and execute test cases for new product releases
Conduct black box testing and perform unit tests across software, firmware and hardware
Manage and track defects throughout iterative release cycles; investigate/reproduce customer-reported issues; produce required test documentation
2+ years of commercial testing or integration test engineering experience
Experience in agile development environments
Ability to design, execute and document tests across software/firmware/hardware
Proficient in black box and unit testing; defect management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Degree/HND in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Audio Engineering or related field
Python programming skills
Linux OS familiarity
Experience with audio quality assessment tools and data integrity evaluations
Ability to mentor or coach colleagues

Solid experience in at least one of the following: IP network testing, embedded systems testing or audio testing Experience working within an agile development environment Ability to design, execute and document detailed test cases across software, firmware and hardware Experience performing black box testing and unit testing Comfortable managing and tracking defects through the full development lifecycle Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator, able to work closely with development, engineering and customer facing teams Degree or HND in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Audio Engineering or a closely related subject Python programming skills and knowledge of Linux OS are highly advantageous
