Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and technically-grounded QA Manager to lead the quality assurance team for a market-leading, high-traffic digital platform. You will be responsible for defining the overarching testing strategy, mentoring a team of engineers, and ensuring a seamless user experience across Desktop, Mobile Web, and Native Apps (iOS/Android). As a leader, you will move beyond manual execution to focus on process optimization, automation growth, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities & Leadership
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the QA team, fostering technical growth in areas like root-cause analysis and automation.
Strategic Oversight: Define and execute test plans for critical business flows, including user onboarding, secure authentication, and complex financial transactions.
Quality Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for documentation in Jira, ensuring bug reports are technically detailed and include logs, payloads, and reproduction steps.
Release Management: Oversee daily smoke testing and health checks to ensure platform stability during rapid deployment cycles and hotfixes.
Technical Advocacy: Act as the bridge between QA, Development, and Product teams to ensure requirements are met and communication remains seamless.
Automation Evolution: Lead the transition from manual testing to automated workflows by identifying stable scenarios for implementation within the automation framework.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a proven track record in high-traffic environments such as E-commerce or Fintech.
Web Architecture Mastery: Deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML, DOM, and CSS.
Technical Debugging: Advanced proficiency with browser developer tools to analyze network calls (API requests/responses), console errors, and storage/cookies.
Mobile Strategy: Extensive experience testing across Responsive Web and Native Apps, with a clear understanding of testing on Real Devices versus Simulators.
Agile Management: Comfort working in fast-paced Sprint environments, managing backlogs, and participating in daily stand-ups.
Language: Advanced proficiency in English (specifically written) for high-level documentation and reporting.
Nice to Have Experience with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks. Background in Fintech or transactional platforms involving real-money flows. Proficiency with API Testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
