Description
You will design, build and maintain production-ready internal applications using low-code platforms that streamline operations and empower teams across the business.
Working autonomously within an agile environment, you'll translate business requirements from Product Managers and internal stakeholders into intuitive, high-quality solutions that deliver measurable value and are consistently delivered on time.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in the Bristol office 2 -3 days per week.
Responsibilities Design, build and maintain production‑ready internal applications using low‑code platforms to streamline operational processes. Translate business requirements from Product Managers and stakeholders into intuitive, user‑friendly tools and automated workflows. Develop and support API integrations, database interactions and workflow automation to improve efficiency across teams. Ensure all solutions are high‑quality, scalable and delivered on time within an agile development environment. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand needs, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement. Monitor, maintain and optimise existing applications to ensure reliability, performance and long‑term usability. Contribute to operational tooling and automation initiatives that enhance productivity and unlock data‑driven insights.
Skills and Experience 2–3+ years’ hands‑on experience building applications in Retool or similar low‑code platforms, with the ability to design intuitive UIs and efficient workflows. Ability to gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical specifications and reusable components. Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication (OAuth, JWT, API keys) and integrating applications with external data sources. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB. Proven ability to estimate effort, meet deadlines and deliver reliably within Scrum or Kanban frameworks. Experience creating and executing QA test plans and ensuring applications are well‑documented and production‑ready. Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams, presenting demos and managing expectations.
