Role & seniority: Senior Engineering Test Technician, Product Integrity (Power Management)
Stack / tools: On-site lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, current transformers, voltage probes); large electrical wiring up to 50 lbs; instrumentation; Microsoft Word & Excel
Set up unit under test and measurement instrumentation per test plan; operate test setup and collect data
Execute test cases, document results and technician observations; troubleshoot test setups and units under test
Ensure safety, maintain lab cleanliness, support continuous improvement opportunities; participate in daily standups
Associate of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or military certification); 1–5 years relevant experience
Broad knowledge of electrical/mechanical test techniques; read electrical schematics
Experience with 208/230/480/600V 3-phase and 120V single-phase wiring; instrumentation and low-voltage wiring
Proficient in Excel/Word; basic use of oscilloscopes and power meters for 3-phase measurements
Ability to lift ~50 lbs; basic mechanical skills for assembling/disassembling equipment; strong troubleshooting of AC/DC power circuits
Location & work type: On-site, Delaware, OH; 2nd shift (3:00 pm–12:00 am) with 2–3 months of trai
Job Summary This is an Sr. Engineering Test Technician role is in the Product Integrity department of the Power Management business unit. The Product Integrity team setups and executes test cases to validation new AC Power products. Products may have a regional scope or a global scope. The Engineer Test Technician will setup the unit under test and the instrumentation as per the test plan. They will operate the unit under test and collect data as per the individual test cases. While executing the test cases, the technician will make observations and keep notes regarding the unit under test’s performance. All of the data collected and the technician’s notes are entered into the test results by the technician. The technician participates in daily standup meetings, keeps their work areas clean and safe, and assists with keeping all the test labs clean and safe. This position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location. This will be a 2nd Shift position will hours being 3:00pm - 12:00am. There will be training for 2-3 months on 1st shift to start.
